Shout out to Critical Minerals Association Australia for a fantastic symposium at #WorldExpo 2025 in Osaka last week. From policy alignment to #supplychain innovation, the conversations shared will lay the groundwork for meaningful action. The diversity of perspectives—from industry leaders, government representatives and research institutions—underscored the strength of the shared ambition in the room. Our CEO Ryan Hanrahan participated on the “Innovation and Partnerships in the Critical Minerals Supply Chain” panel, chaired by Helen Degeling alongside Paul Greaney, David Russo and Alannah MacTiernan. The conversation covered a wide range of topics including: —   Technology across the full critical minerals supply chain —   Ex-China #rareearths separation —   What comprises a valuable #process innovation —   Recovery of #metals from #mine waste —   #Recycling of spent #batteries —   Global government / industry initiatives —    Frameworks for enabling collaboration between #Japan and #Australia The working session dinner the evening prior chaired by Jeff Townsend also provided for frank, honest and deep dive discussions into key challenges facing the #criticalminerals industry. Outside the Critical Minerals Symposium, Wave International were pleased to attend other critical minerals events with state government representatives, continuing discussions on expanding Australia’s scope in the supply chains. We look forward to collaborating with CMA Australia to progress the outcomes of the event, as the resulting action plan, highlighting both immediate and medium-term opportunities to drive meaningful change, is delivered.
