Celebrating Australians on the Global Stage 🌏 Advance Global Australians was delighted to co-host a special evening with Cassandra Bird Gallery, featuring a private viewing of Dawn Chorus by acclaimed artist Gene A'Hern in Sydney. Gene was recently awarded the prestigious Sir John Sulman Art Prize by the Art Gallery of New South Wales. Based in Katoomba, Gene's work has gained international recognition with exhibitions at Hill House at Simchowitz in Los Angeles, Color Coded at Bode Gallery in Berlin, and solo shows in Copenhagen, Sydney, and Los Angeles. Gene A’Hern, Cassandra Bird Gallery, and Fabian Jentsch have been great supporters of Australians on the global stage, contributing to Advance Global Australian events and regularly amplifying the achievements of others in our community. Events like these are part of our mission to back Australians around the world and our commitment to connecting, empowering, and championing our people — both abroad and on their return home. As always, the evening sparked new opportunities and collaborations, with people offering support to one another — professionally and personally — in the true spirit of mateship. With thanks to our event partners, Cassandra Bird Gallery and Aristotelis Ke Anthoula, for making it possible.
