🇦🇺 One million Australians live and work overseas — and they’re one of our greatest untapped national assets. Advance Global Australians welcomed the opportunity to contribute to the Economic Reform Roundtable with a submission focused on boosting national productivity through global talent. Our submission highlights three key opportunities: harnessing global knowledge and skills of Australians overseas and returning, deepening international collaboration and driving commercialisation, as well as modernising skills pathways to meet the demands of a global economy. 📄 Drawing on insights from our 2025 Global Australian Report, daily engagement with our community worldwide, and trends emerging through our programs, the submission outlines practical ways to: ✅ Utilise Australians living & working overseas as a strategic asset in key markets ✅ Integrate the Global Diaspora into the National Innovation Strategy ✅ Facilitate Global Skills Development & Knowledge Sharing ✅ Establish a Career Pathway Program for returning Australians Our not for profit is proud to back Aussies around the world. We stand ready to work constructively and collaboratively with governments, business, and education to deliver tangible outcomes for all Australians. Together, we can build a smarter, more productive, connected, and globally competitive country — turning today’s opportunities into tomorrow’s national advantage. 🔗 Learn more: https://hubs.la/Q03z1Nlb0 #AdvanceGlobalAustralians #StrongerTogether #EconomicReform #Productivity #GlobalAustralians #TalentMobility #DiasporaEngagement #Innovation #NationalAdvantage Kate McQuestin
