Queensland-Thailand Business Leaders Lunch

This week, Global Australians partnered with Trade and Investment Queensland to bring together leaders from across clean energy, hospitality, aviation, finance, property, biotechnology, agriculture and investment for the Queensland–Thailand Business Leaders Lunch.

Hosted with Shannon Leahy, Senior Trade and Investment Commissioner, Southeast Asia, the discussion explored opportunities to strengthen trade, investment and business ties between Queensland and Thailand, including the significant opportunities presented by Queensland’s major project pipeline and the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

It was also a great example of the enormous value Australians embedded in key international markets offer our country - bringing local knowledge, trusted relationships, experience and connections that can help open doors and strengthen global engagement.

A special thank you to Brenton Mauriello AM and Simon Moran, as well as the wonderful Australian and Thai community organisations that work tirelessly to strengthen ties between our two countries, including the Australia Council Thailand, The Australian-Thai Chamber of Commerce (AustCham Thailand) and the Australian Alumni Association (Thailand).
