Last week, I had the privilege of attending the Treasurer’s address at the National Press Club in my capacity as a Non-Executive Director of Rare Cancers Australia. The message was clear: the Government is calling for ‘constructive’ engagement. And every one of us has a role to play. It’s easy to throw stones from the sidelines—but real impact comes when we roll up our sleeves and get involved. Now more than ever, we need to work together—for the sake of future generations. Whether through the work we’re paid to do or the roles we take on as volunteers, each of us can help shape a stronger, more resilient Australia. If we don’t, we risk being left behind. This Government has been given a clear mandate. It’s time to back them—to help secure Australia’s place in a fast-changing world. There’s enormous opportunity on the table. And by working together, we can turn today’s momentum into tomorrow’s national advantage. 🇦🇺 #Leadership #NationBuilding #ConstructiveEngagement #FutureFocused #Australia #StrongerTogether #AdvanceAu Jim Chalmers Christine Cockburn
